Anyone with recommendations for or against using a product like FlexSeal on the floorboard of the car?  Mine is almost spotless being an AZ car all it's life?  Also, is using regular carpet padding OK, or is there another product I could find at a box store that would be better?  I had thought of just using carpet remnants to put under the carpet I am installing to help deaden sound.
