Hey IV, 
At this point you are no doubt feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by your dilemma.  Keep your chin up and try not to get too 
discouraged.  This sort of stuff can be and is very frustrating,  annoying, a major nusiance, etc. etc.,  (BTDT),  but hang in there.  
Just take it one step at a time, one day at a time.  Each time you check something and find that it isn't it, you can then rule that out.  
On to the next thing.  Anyway, you get the idea.  Hang in there!  And like a famous person once said...."This too, shall pass"
