Technically, Greg's suggestion is much better than mine though a I hadn't factored in the potential that someone could download the membership directory file electronically for the purpose of sending out promotional materials, rather than for building personal relationships or receiving help when needed.  I still like my suggestion... at least if we could figure out the way to ensure the information is used properly and not for mass solicitation.

Such an app could be really useful.  While we wait for an app to be developed, another useful option would be to have the membership information something that could be downloaded in Excel by current members.  No printing costs would need to be incurred by CORSA and it would be an added benefit to all members, including having the ability to download it when needed, so it is as up to date as possible.

A membership directory can be a useful thing.  However, Corsa has money tied up printing them, they go out of date, they print too many, it's in the other Corvair, etc.  Makes me think what would really be cool is a Corsa app for our smartphones.  Login with our Corsa membership id, use the phone's gps capability to find the members closest to us or search the membership database for a particular member or members in a certain city.  Lots of possibilities there - and lots more that can be imagined.  Are any app developers Corsa members?
