Smitty Says;  You are certainly entitled to your opinion Seth but I think 
you concept of beautiful has been numbed by the constant and complete 
saturation of cars with their ass way up in the air in the interest of 
aerodynamics.  I understand the reason for that but I don't have to like it. 
I read various motor magazines and it seems the writers have no concept of 
beauty anymore.  They rave about styling of cars that have none.  Maybe they 
wouldn't know styling if they saw it.  Or maybe they they don't have the 
gonads to buck a trend because they will be out of step with all the other 
sheep.  I get in my wagon or my early coupe or even my early convert with 
the top up and I can see everything around me.  It's a safety thing for me. 
I get into my modern car and the claustrophobic view to the rear is plain 
scary when backing up in a tight parking lot.  But of course we are stuck 
with it in the interest of fuel mileage.  Let us deal with damage and 
insurance companies while they go after that last tenth of a gallon and 
dictate that we drive stone ugly cars.  I think they must have taken the 
last stylist out behind the studio and shot him sometime in the 70s
