Welcome back Dale.  Glad to hear that your health problems are all behind
you now.

Due to a recent (4/10/2013) lung transplant, I have found my limitations
(from the doctors) have severely handicapped me in being able to keep up
with all of my vehicles, so I am thinning out the stable.  I have decided to
sell my 1964 Spyder Convertible.  I have a complete set of Clark's moldings
(rocker panels, wheel wells, and doglegs) that have never been installed.
Also a California Car Cover will be included.  Less than 500 miles on the
engine since total rebuild.  It is Palomino Red with white top and interior,
carpets are red.  Private e-mail me if interested (jvanho42 at att.net).  I am
asking $16,500 for it.

Well here I go again! My Birthday Present to myself was rejoining CORSA
today!
 
I feel a little like the "once and future King" having been a member many
years ago and finally getting up the nerve to rejoin! I have owned and
driven many a Vair over the past 6.9 decades. I had to sell my last one a
few years ago do to health problems. Those have been solved and once more I
am looking for another 'project' if my wife doesn't object!!!
 
Being an old Hoosier I have been able to attend the Performance Workshops
the past 3 years and have met many nice folks and learned a lot about our
favorite car. I have been a 'member' of this list since it started but don't
post much! I just sit back and learn.
 
I have a lot of great ideas of how to build the "perfect" Corvair but it
will be a while before I get to that. All these years of "grunting" still no
'gold brick' nor will PCH give me $5K a week!!
 
Keep up the good work. I 'may' chime in once in a while (or maybe not?).
