<VV> Best way to list for sale my '63 Spyder turbo 4-spd Conv?

I've successfully sold vehicles on eBay. While in California I sold a 4x4 pickup, which was hauled from there to Connecticut, and the other was a motorcycle sent from Ohio to Massachusetts. The buyers looked at the photos and accepted my descriptions, and sent their money. They apparently were satisfied because I never heard back from them.

There are several ways of selling on eBay: auction, with or without Buy It Now, and classified. I used the auction because it lends urgency to a listing and can speed up a sale, but set a reserve high enough for me to live with. (On that 4x4 sale, the buyer wanted it badly enough that he paid close to my Buy It Now price, and the auction bidding never got near that.)

Fees to eBay can be a little high, but still reasonable, IMO. Craigslist is free, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I have sold small stuff on Craigslist (and never had any robbers show up!), but nothing with Hemmings.

You might have to be patient to make a sale for an amount you want. Then again, you might sell the car in a week or less. Good luck!

"easy restoration". Ha ha ha ha...  Those 2 words should not be in the same sentence. Sure sounds like a neat find though. Too bad for the repaint, especially in a different color. Try all of them as far as the best place to sell it. And how about the CORSA website? Good luck.
