Hi Tim, I am assuming you are referring to the heater control levers but could not find what you were answering. So if you are referring to the heater controls, I sure agree about lubing/cleaning these cables and controls. When I did my Corvan Camper controls it's almost like they were new again, moving and sliding very smoothly.
I used some heavy duty spray lube with a motorcycle chain lubricator.
