Don't bother. Not ONE of these is suitable for replacement with an incandescent bulb.
LEDs require optics specific to that light source. And no one has come up with one that's suitable.

You want Lambertian emission pattern, and you'll need to make a heat sinked mount aimed at the lens, with the LED approximately at the same position as the filament of the 1157.
You will also need a driver circuit to get brake and taillight functions, although these can be achieved with two diodes and two resistors, each.

Does anybody have a recommendation on what brand/type etc. of LED bulbs are easy
to just "plug in" to a LM tail light socket? This would be an easy substitute
