<VV> 64 - rear suspension

Isn't the transverse leaf bolted to the transmission? I recall removing and reinstalling that bolt during some work years ago.

ok, here's mine -
by that standard, no suspension with a sway bar would be a fully
independent suspension - front or rear.
It isn't a live axle, it isn't a De Dion, it is independent.
The motion path of each wheel is independent of the other, even if the
effective spring rate is affected by the motion /position of the other.
