<VV> 4 speed 1960 Caveman Corvair?

Well, there were a few (2?) 1960 4-speed manual 
transmissions made. None of them were installed by the 
factory in a Corvair that the Public could buy. It is 
possible that a late model year option was announced, but 
no orders were filled. Yes, a later (cast iron case) 4 
speed could have been installed in a 1960. This car may 
have one. I would have to shift into what logically should 
be a 4-speed's first gear position and see if the car went 
forward (4 speed) or backward (3 speed). - Caveman Pete
