I used an air chisel to cut the nut most of the way through, hammering
in a counterclockwise direction. Eventually the nut gets weak enough
that it starts to turn. I still needed to clean up the threads
afterwards. They are a strange size (that I can't recall right now) and
I had a tough time finding the correct thread die.
