Is that a late telescoping column/wood wheel setup shown in the last pic 
(http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=vzblso&s=6)?

If yes, I don't know anything about Fitch Sprints so I'm assuming this 
was not how they were configured, and that this item was added later.

Is that right?
