 More blades is a definite plus, but this also will wind up pulling even more HP at full speed! Little doubt why Porsche and nearly all the air cooled industrial diesels use an axial design.

You might want to look at this design-set up to eliminate reversion between 
 the fan and the "turkey roaster."  This takes a fan ring fastened to the  
"roaster."
