<VV> PG Fluid Question

I use Dexron VI in everything.  Much better fluid than what was available back in the day.

Hi,

I'm working on my friend's 67 PG coupe and discovered no transmission fluid
was showing on the dip stick. The last time I bought automatic transmission
fluid for a Corvair - a mere 25 years ago - I seem to remember there was an
"A" type for GM vehicles and an "F" type for Fords. The local store has one
that says  OK for both Ford AND GM vehicles. Is it OK to use this for a 67
PowerGlide?
