Shows what I know, very little. Sounds like a reasonable offer to the family, for the six "resting" Vairs, would be about $500.

Not really- you can get from $200 to $250 each for scrap, more if you take the time to separate the aluminium parts. We had a lot full of old Corvairs here in Pensacola and someone went out and took everything they could unbolt off of them-left only the shells. Taking the whole car would have been Grand Theft Auto---- The local Sheriff wouldn't do anything about it because all they stole was "Junk"
