The bylaws do not state the board meeting has to be at the convention. It states if may be held before the convention and votes for the new officers may be by mail. Email counts.
If we want younger people for the board and to get into CORSA then we must accept the constraints that work has on them. I requested my vacation in January this year and was informed a month before the convention that I may not get the week off! Needless to say that I got the week off.
CORSA needs to change and evolve. All aspects of it or there will be no CORSA in 10 years or less.
There is more to service than a meeting at a convention. My opinion only. I'm sure I will hear different. Fire away.
In regards to an earlier email the board had an informational meeting in the morning as a recap to the year, met with Alfred Chimoski of Hagerty Insurance, got a merchandise update, 2014, and 2015 convention updated from Larry Claypool, discussed the further enhancement of the CORSA web site even though some may think its not a nice site, and then moved to new business. New president Paul Sargeant discussed his ideas for the next year which I will let him discuss.
This concludes the recap of the board meeting.

It was not like that when I was on the board. Don't give me bus about doing business via internet or phone its the convention and you should represent your zone or resign.
