<VV> Lakewood w/ K-H's at the 'Rock ~ "guilty pleasure"?

Nor was I happy, and wished I had had my Corsa that day, but it was a rare
opportunity, and I would not let my "Lakewood" deny me that "guilty
pleasure"!
I still have 2 of the wheels that have been on many Corvairs, but not of
late, since I only have 1967 at this point, but who knows?
You're probably right about the year, more like mid-70s ? As Kermit said,
"Times fun when you're having flies!"
Anyone have any pix of that fateful day?
Charlie

That was a lot longer ago than 1984, Charlie -- think 70s -- and I
remember it well. You spun the car coming off the diving turn onto
the main straight. Working the tower, I was not happy to see a
swing-axle wagon on K-H wheels going sideways at high speed...
