Today Mary, Ed and I went to Pensacola Beach to check in with the Days Inn about our 28th Annual Corvair Lovers Holiday & Car Show to be held on February 15 & 16, 2013. We were pleased to learned that Russ Thuleen and his family are coming as well as James and Lillian Law.  We were excited when we read Linda Hands name on our hotel registration list for we have not seen Linda for awhile.  Other names on our hotel list are Shala Daire, Lee Oxford and Mary Anne Henly and Molly Bacon.  Ed and I and Mary made our reservation today as well.  There are still rooms available at $69 parking lot side and $89 beachfront.  You save $20 on your rooms by mentioning the Corvair when you make your reservation. Good news for you RVer's. We found that the new RV campground across the street from the Days Inn is open.  We went to the Pensacola Beach RV Resort at 17 Via De Luna Drive on Pensacola Beach, FL 32561 and got some information on prices.  You can get a standard RV spot for less than the hotel, $65.  It is a very nice place with bathrooms and showers.  Give them a call at 850-932-4670.

We also found a new restaurant on the boardwalk.  It is called the "Cactus Flower."  We like the "Cactus Flower" restaurant in Pensacola and hope their new restaurant on the beach will be a great dining experience for everyone.  The "Cactus Flower" makes their food fresh from scratch.

Others coming to the show are Josh and Jennifer Creel, David Nelson and his family, Tom and Vivian Dudak and Teddy, Perry Martin and Donna Matkin, Howard & Lynn Ruble and of course Mary and Gary and Ed and I.   Folks, we got us a car show!
