My 05 F -150 has an oddball tire size---235-70R15. Went to 245's for my
Michelin LTX's.
Got them at Discount Tire---(cheaper than tire rack at the time) with road
hazard, lifetime balance and rotation for right at 1000.00 for 4.
I've had the original Hancook's (JUNK) and some General's (OK) and BF
Goodrich's (better) but I'm overjoyed with the Michelins. They're the best
tire I've had on the truck in it's 165,000 mile service.

Michelin LTX truck tires are about the best there is, I think. I've had a
couple sets. They wear like iron and are an excellent mud and rain tire.
They aren't cheep but if you're towing you don't want cheep.
I've used car tires on my 1500 pickup before but for towing or hauling it
isn't a great idea.

Subject: Tire Advice
I have a 2009 GMC 2 wheel drive 1500 series pickup truck. Currently, it has
P245/79R17 M&S tires by General. They wore out much sooner than I thought
they should. Anybody have any suggestions about replacements? Thanks in
advance.
Corvair content---I use thsi truck to pull the car trailer with either the
track car or the Corsa convnert.
