<VV> West Coast Turbo Boost?

I guess you guys driving out West can get boost at  2000 rpm much more 
easily than those of us driving in the "cityfied" areas of  the NorthEast.

Since the  mid 60's...  everyone into performance knew that  you needed more advance  to get the Vair to boost...quickly..


  Do you really think  people were satisfied with getting boost in 3 & 4th gear only?


you must remember in the 60's the   majority of highways were still at 55 mph...  only the interstates were 65...


Here's a video to show you what 36  Deg,  BTDC at   1500 rpm.. and a stock 180 pressure retard  that combined  keeps the MINIMUM  timing at 29 BTDC will run like
