<VV> Tire size vs air pressure survey

No need to drive slow, the FCs were rated for 3/4 ton payload according to
the SAE papers I read a while back. I've hauled 1200 pounds of motar and
block in my worn out 62 van when I was building my house. The brick yard
couldn't believe the van would hold that much weight. Rusty even...
I do not know how much weight I had in it when I was hauling hardware and
parts from my closed shop and I blew a brand new tire (actually a valve
stem failure). It took two jacks to get the rear off the ground to change
it on the side of the interstate. That was at the start of a 60 mile trip.

FCs use the same pressure on all 4 corners - according to the answer I got
from Claypool a number of years ago. I have had roughly a 3/4 ton load in
the rear of the Rampside. I pushed the rears up to 40 and drove slowly -
about a dozen miles or so.
