<VV> Tire size vs air pressure survey

In reality, there are only two problems with tire pressures and Corvairs.
First, you must run sufficient rear pressures to carry the increased load
that the rear-engined car imparts on the tires. Second, the front tires are
so lightly loaded (dependent on tire size) that it is possible to run too
much air in the front tires, resulting in the reduction of the contact patch
to the road, and resultant poor front traction. Life with the Corvair tire,
whether for street use or racing, is a constant search for enough, but not
too much, pressure - usually at both ends of the car at once! With
properly sized radial tires, I have been happy with 24 in the front and 32 in the
back. It is a good balance between ride and wear. Front pressures are
subject to change if trunk is filled up.

We all know what Chevy put on the glove box for OEM tires, but what do
you run with larger tires, or stock sized radials?
For years with 175 and 185 width radials, I ran 25 front, 35 rear, or
close to those numbers. I recall a period of 22 front and 32 rear.
On my daughter's LM, with 205/65R15 we have been running 25 front, 32
rear or so. Wear seems fine (even) and steering effort is nice. These
are on S-10 rims, great look (needed slight machining to fit).
Note all these numbers are for street use, not racing. For auto crossing
stock wheels/tires I always ran 30 psi front and 40 psi rear.
So, what are you guys wearing as air pressure numbers?
