<VV> throttle rod interchangeability

Hi guys.  I need a throttle rod (the one that goes from the carb linkages
down to the bellcrank type gizmo under the car (down by the transmission)
for our 1962 coupe with powerglide.  I have a couple of rods here but they
all seem to be different.

How many different rod designs are there, are the manual trans and auto
trans early model rods different from one another or the same?  Any tips on
identifying the one I need?
