<VV> Turbo Temps?

The good news is that a gasket between the exhaust housing and the main
bearing carrier will add space to the turbine if needed. Also remember that
clearance can only be checked - and the impeller spun, when the exhaust
housing is mounted in place. The final clamping of the housing compresses the
preload spring under the turbine, allowing the rotating assembly to - uh -
rotate. Many turbos have been acquired because the wheels wouldn't spin with
the housing removed. "Well - I guess it is frozen!" - Seth

I agree with John; no coating in turbine area unless they machine the area
and return it back to original specs. Mark Durham Hauser Idaho

get, regardless of mods! IF it were me, I wouldn't coat any area near the
turbine impeller.
