You are right, and I also overlooked the wiper arm question.  For that one, 
I would suggest a look at the rear wiper arms on many SUVs and/or 
hatchbacks.  Most take a 13 or 14" blade and our Corvairs use a 15" blade. 
Perhaps there are some out there which flip all the way up, have the right 
splines, and will accommodate a 15" blade????  Good hunting!
