That is very interesting! When i got the plates for my 1962 coupe, I searched for an original 1962 idaho plate. I found a set off ebay in New Jersey off an estate sale. The story was the then young couple bought a car in 1962, moved from Idaho to New Jersey, and hung the plates up in the garage, where they stayed until I bought them for my car. IDAHO  allows original plates on antique/classic cars for limited road use. Mark Durham Hauser Idaho.
