The questions regarding a 3rd generation corvair and what could have been, I've seen literature showing that the vega could have been the new 1970 corvair. The article was short and the pictures shown the back of the prototype to be vega with a corvair engine in place. Not sure what magizine it was in as it was 69-70 publication. Would have been interesting to see.
