I wouldn't make that assumption. I don't think things got beyond the talking about stage, in this particular case. Remember, all work on the Corvair stopped around the end of 1965, before the TH350 was introduced.

If so I'm sure someone here has a stack of prototypes in their garage they would 
like to sell...
