<VV> Tire Option Question

A friend in LICA (L.I. Corvair) told me yesterday that 14 inch wheels and  
tires were optional on lates (65-69).
Is this true?  If it is true there would be a whole product line for  14 
inch wheels and I have not seen that.  Am I missing something.   Could someone 
please clarify.

 Your friend is a newbie...  most likely...


14" wheels  5x4.75"  bolt pattern  were only available on  61-5 FC's...  never on cars...


That being said... the bolt pattern is common GM / Corvair cars '65-9.. and all sorts of wheels fit....  amd most of us who drive our Vairs daily use  14-17"  wheels..


 The most popular being the 15"  late 60's -70's Camaro wheels with 205/60-15's.. a perfect match to the 700x13's originally sold.
