With the Hoosier show coming up Betty Gridley often will be there. Maybe that's a good time for the sale or get together. Has this idea been run by her son Mike?

It has been about six years since Corvair Enthusiast and
Circle City Corvair Club member Ed Gridley passed away.
There is still a bunch of parts in the barn down in
Franklin, IN (just south of Indy) and I am floating an
idea for a Barn Sale to help the family out. They would
really like to see the parts get back into the hands of
enthusiasts. Many of the parts are for Corvair FC's. There
are some car parts as well. There are even some NOS parts
still in the original GM wrappers.
There are only two Corvairs left in the barn. At one time
Ed had 47 Corvairs on the property! The two that are left
need some help and a lot of help. One is a 1960 700 sedan
that is best used as a parts donor for another Caveman
Corvair. The other is a 1965 Monza Sport Sedan with
factory A/C and a tele steering column and wood wheel. The
car also has bumper guards, factory mag wheel covers and
it came with a remote outside rear view mirror on the
driver's door. The mirror has been changed but some of the
hardware remains. Mrs. Gridley used to drive the '65 and
it did drive itself into the barn many, many years ago.
The date I am thinking about for the Barn Sale would be
October 20th or 21st. If there is enough interest the
family would welcome Corvair enthusiasts on the day of the
sale. I have a couple of key Corvair folks in mind to help
me with this idea. What do you think? Post here or PM me
with any input plus or minus. Thanks!! - Caveman Pete
