In 49 years of running Vairs.. only 3 mech pumps have failed....  only TWO  electrics!
1 AC  and an old Stewart Warner that came in my Vairboat [ now Alan Bristow's]


I run electrics to remove the clutter  on the engine..and fuel lines away from the IGNITION..


 Here's my ratmobile...  stays outside...  never washed if it doesn't rain!! gg
