<VV> Descending a mountain (was valve seats revisited)

Just make sure you aren't overheating and drive the snot out of it.  I've driven many miles at continuous full throttle (sometimes 20 minutes without lifting) in the Texas heat and never dropped a seat in my 85hp convertible.

So out of curiosity, how am I supposed to drive up and down some of the real mountains I encounter at times (to keep my valve seats in)?
