At age 26 I had been into Corvairs for 9 years. And that was almost 26 years ago. As far as getting a good used (cheap)rear axle bearing my advice is to get a used axle off your 1963 and service this part and then install. Don't mess with pressing off/on the axle bearing when you already have one on your '63. Just get a complete axle with a good serviceable bearing and that will work fine.
