<VV> EM sighting in Harpers Ferry, WV

Yesterday (3/29/2012) I was driving on Bakerton Road in Harpers Ferry, WV just north of 340 when, much to my surprise, I saw an early Corvair heading toward me in the opposite direction.  It was early evening, about an hour before sunset and that time of day when the angle of the sun makes it difficult to see but the car appeared to be a bluish gray.  It happened so fast and came as such a surprise, I'm ashamed to say I can't state the model year precisely but I'm thinking '62 or '64.  I couldn't even tell you if it was a coupe or 4-door sedan.  I barely had time to get the window down on my daily driver/water-pumper to get my hand out the window and give him the thumbs up.  Anyone have any idea who it might have been?
