Right, Bryan. W could be any year of 61 to 64 FC PG engine, except Bruce
already gave us the 64 clue. That is, if no one changed the engine
previously!
So, the new engine has the late 61 to 65 FC throttle linkage crossshaft,
where the accelerator cable exits the firewall in line with the crosshaft.
Bruce, you might have an early 61 where the accelerator linkage is attached
to the transmission, just like the cars of every year.
As Bob says, use the stuff from your original installation if it worked
fine for you. In any case, you will need the TV rod (accelerator rod from
transmission to crosshaft) installed in order to downshift the PG.
