Just like holes for outside rear view mirrors and radio antennas, any 
skilled person can repair a notched '64 pulley (I have at least a 
couple) to oem -- let the user / owner decide, and we'll send all our 
left over notched pulleys to you and you can "restore" them to 
"precious" condition <grin>

I wonder, over the years, how many armatures have been messed up by 
getting the pulley nut cross threaded trying to install it on the car ...

Likewise, how many "precious" fan blades have been broken trying to get 
that nut loose without an impact wrench.
