<VV> any known flat 8 cylinders

The Lycoming fuel injected IO-720 cubic inch 400hp flat 8 cylinder is
used in several production aircraft, the Piper Comanche 400 For one. I
used to work on a customers years ago. the aft cylinders were hard to
keep cool. It was hard to start when warm (we've never heard of that
before, have we!) Mark Durham

Lycoming made an IO720 opposed 8 cylinder aircraft engine, but I've
never worked on one or seen it in use that I can remember.
