Chris,
Ah, somebody who knows the pain and pleasure of the path I'm treading. My
restoration on our '65 Monza coupe began in 2005 and I hope will be done
this summer. So, maybe I'll beat you by a bit. :) It's a complete
nuts-and-bolts restomod that began on a rotisserie and will someday end on
the road. Every part has been disassembled and replaced, rebuilt, or
refinished. Mine, too, has already cost too much, but it's something I've
always wanted to do. I'm doing a lot of the work, but I didn't do the
paint-and-body, engine, transmission and differential. It won't be a
trailer queen and we plan to drive it extensively.
