Why not. I am yet to see a car that's appearance is not improved considerably by white side wall tires.
 
My claim to fame, is that in my 60 years on this planet I have never and never will purchase a black wall tire.
 
The only consideration is the width of the white wall. Generally cars up to 1961 are best suited to wider (2 inch) white side walls while many performance cars of the late 1960s through to today might be best suited to pin stripe white walls.
 
My personal favourite are white widths of one and quarter inch.
 
But above all in my opinion a Chevrolet Corvair of any description without white walls is missing the most important appearance option.
 
These days our roads are increasingly filled with cars painting in non descript colours, with bland grey interiors and black wall tires. Bring back the exciting colour and white wall tires.
