While I can't verify what type of head gaskets or other unique engine modifications were made to (my) 1966 Monza for factory A/C, the suffix on the engine code, RK, indicates "High Performance engine, Powerglide, factory A/C."

So it appears Corvair engines in factory A/C cars were unique in some way.
