Ulli:  Lary Claypool visited Europe, including Germany, not too long ago and did a whole writeup in the Communique on his trip.  He went with his family and met a few other Corvair enthusiasts, perhaps you know who they are?
 
If I can find the issue, I can provide the names of the folks he met with.
