<VV> serious problem with my turbo engine

Shall I assume that 10 as a compression reading is bar (atmospheres)?

If so, then you have 5 cylinders at 147 psi, and one at 31 psi. Yes, there
is a problem. Once you removed the valve cover and saw the long spring, I
think you are in the right place.

A fallen valve seat that is still in one piece usually results in a short
spring, as the valve is not seating against the seat/head in the usual
position. A long spring means the valve is seated further than the usual
seat area, or the keepers have fallen off the valve, letting the spring
free. A valve seating further in the head than usual probably means the
seat fell out and broke into small pieces. These pieces will travel into
all three cylinders on that side (in rare cases they will go through the
exhause crossover into the other head) and into the turbo!

Remove the rocker from the long spring. If the keepers have not fallen off
the valve, then remove the head.

Write back with what you find.

and the biggest problem is that the German MotorVision TV wants to make a
complete show with the Corsa - the set will be mid of September, air play
is October 01. - the shows name is "Classic Rides" and is all about Corvair
as one of the first turbo cars,. A friend from North Germany is coming down
to Muich with his 64 Spyder and mine would be the one for the LM series.
If i can not get the problem solved they will skip and promote Porsche as
one of the first Turbo cars - what a shame.
