<VV> Air Conditioning

I added an original air system to my 65 Corvair. I used a 66 condenser. After 
overheating problems I added 2 fans that draw in on the condenser. Propped open 
the heat dampers and still at times overheat. Clarks suggested removal of the 
bottom sheet metal.  Do you have any suggestions? Charlie Merando,

  Removing the lower shrouds is the most common  "fix"  for summer temp....


How old is your "Head Temp Snap Switch"??    they degrade with age and come on at a lower and lower temp over the years..
