Did you have both carbs wide open when you took the readings?

I would not define 125 as bad. The difference between 155 and 125 is a
little more than you would like to see, but not really horrible.

You might have some (relatively minor) blow by on the left bank. What do
the plugs look like?

The rough running might be very slightly attributed to by the compressions
you are showing, but I strongly suspect the primary cause is elsewhere.

I've not been paying attention to the thread, so please forgive if the
following have already been considered. Carbs are properly balanced? Plug
wires are not arcing? Dist cap is clean and without cracks or carbon
tracks?

Later, JR

OK, I did a compression test an hour ago with the following results: #1 -
145; #2 - 145; #3 - 155; #4 - 130; #5 - 155; #6 - 125. Looks to me like the
whole left bank is weak, with #s 2 & 4 being especially bad. Am I right? And

how bad? What does this say about the symptoms it's now exhibiting: running
very rough, stalling out at idle, oil pres/temp light on at near idle?
