<VV> Headlights not working

Exercise your dimmer switch about 30 times and see if the headlights  work. 
 If the dimmer is the cause replace it (and if the area is rusty  locate 
the leak).  Lots of other potential causes, but the dimmer switch  is 
frequently the culprit.

I went out to drive my Corvair the other night and the head lights  don't 
work.  Turn signals and brake lights work, but no  headlights.  I checked 
the wires from the headlights to the dash  switch and I can't see 
anything obvious.  Before I order a new  headlight switch, is there
