Small stuff like that, yep. An axle? No way. Not that I'd have an EM anyhow, but this is one of those things where a new set of bearings packed with synthetic grease makes the whole thing a non issue. As the car gets older and less well maintained, the list of what is LIKELY to go wrong grows.
However, with 50 year old cars, the idea is to make sure maintenance is rigorous enough that things get better, not worse.

I found that what ever you take along on a road trip you won't need. The things
that seem to break are the things you don't have. Tools and belt are a given,
as are points, and condenser. I carry a fuel pump(mechanical) and an alternator
too. An assortment of nuts and bolts, duct tape (of course) and a coil of
baling type wire. The CORSA directory, cell phone and AAA card.

M rear hub assy with backing plate drilled for E-brake cable on either

LL ENGINES replaceable Fan bearings..... with Square cut from fan
hroud...so you don't need to remove the top shroud
LL ENGINES.... Convert to Floating wristpins...so piston replacement would
e simple and quick!
