<VV> LM/LLM 4-speed gaskets different

Yeah, I wish I had known that when my father's non-Corvair mechanic replaced my 4-speed, before I was driving at 70 MPH and my 65 Corsa convertible came to an abrupt stop in the left lane of the SOB Expressway (LI, NY), unable to budge, with transaxle frozen (actually melted) solid.
Screaming tires and several hundred feet of black stripes in my rear view mirror told me it was my car, as we rapidly decelerated with what appeared to be a "stalled" engine.
Hmmm...maybe that gasket needed some more little holes in it? Thus started my odyssey in 1968 ... Still loved my Corvair, but my mechanic ? Not so much ...

It’s not only the gasket, but the transfer holes have to be relocated to share fluids.
