Ernie,

You may want to order one from one of the vendors.  The one you made will
work for a while but it is not as flexible as the proper wire and will fail
much sooner.

J.R.:  You nailed it.  I had a bad points to coil wire.  Tested good on car
but when I took it off the car the continuity was all over the place.  Made
a new wire for it and all is well.  I took her out and drove 50 miles and it
never missed a beat.
