<VV> Cutting a 2-1/6" hole in sheetmetal

I have one of these tools and my experience with it is, I'd rather use 
anything else! It will make a ragged hole even in a drill press.
Try doing it hand held with a drill on the dash of a Corvair! NASTY!
I would spring for the die any day.
