Come to think another it, if you aren't obsessed with a pure stock restoration (and this coming from the SCG president!), I can't imagine a better homage to Carl Sagan than to paint the trunk black overlayed with as many stars, galaxies, nebulae, etc as possible! Imagine how people would react to seeing this ordinary looking Corvair and then you open up the trunk to display the vast universe!
